SEPTA Senior Fare Card – Seniors Travel Free

Seniors 65 and over can use a SEPTA Senior Fare Card to travel for free on all SEPTA transit routes. What a great benefit for Philadelphia area seniors!  There are several ways you can get a senior fare card.

SEPTA offers two options for Seniors to obtain or renew Senior Fare cards:

  1.  Legislative District Offices – Seniors can apply for a new card or renew an existing SEPTA Key Senior Fare card at their participating State Senate and State House district offices.  Legislative staff will process your renewal or new application – taking a picture, if necessary – and SEPTA will mail a new card directly to you in 2 -3 weeks.
  2. SEPTA Headquarters – For those who would like to apply for a new card or renew their card immediately, in person appointments are available at SEPTA Headquarters: 1234 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA  19107.  Appointment times are between 8 am – noon (office is closed noon – 1 pm) and 1 pm – 5 pm weekdays:
